Daylight saves what?

Twice a year we’re enslaved by the idea that we need to move our clocks to enable more daylight in the evening. The studies of people experiencing reduced productivity at work to an increased rate of car accidents the week after each time change are prevalent.
I grew up in Saskatchewan, the rare bastion of sense. They moved their clocks for daylight savings in the 1960s and never did it again. I’m going to take the same action. From now on I’m going to Stephen Standard Time ie. it won’t change in spring and fall.
